DOJO KUN (The oath of the DOJO)
I come to you with only karate, My empty hands. I have no weapons, But should i be foreed to defend my self, My principales, or my honor, Should it be matter of life or death, Of right or wrong, These are my weapons, karate my empty hands.
We will train our hearts and bodies For a firm unshaken spirit We will pursue the true meaning of the martial way, so that in time or sense may be alert.
With true vigor, we will seek to cultivate a spirit of self-denial.
We will observe the rules of courtesy, respect our superiors and refrain from violence.
We will follow our religious principles and never forget the true virtue of humility.
We will look upwards to wisdom and strength, not seeking other desires.
All our lives, through the discipline of “karate”, we will seek to fulfill the true meaning
Of the budo kai kan way.
What’s the meaning of “KARATE’S” Divergent Belt Color’s
- WHITE BELT : When a plant is born, it breaks through the ground and meets Bright white Sunlight.
- YELLOW BELT : As the plant adjusts to the white light it’s exposed to the yellow sun.
- ORANGE BELT : The warmth from the sun is hat & Radiation the Growing Plant.
- GREEN BELT : As the sun keeps burning brightly, the plant gets green & grows fresh new leaves & sprouts.
- BLUE BELT : Growing taller, the plant reaches up towards the Beautiful Big Blue Sky above.
- PURPLE BELT : As day gradually turns to night, the sun sets in the Horizon & sky turns volleyed.
- BROWN BELT : The darkness increases so the plant humbly bows down towards the Brown soil from where it comes.
- BLACK BELT : The end is hare our plant dies, But a new one will grow, Every end is another Beginning.
